General
A serious instrument made for serious musicians, the Ortega Deep Series 8 D8CE-4 medium-scale electro-acoustic bass sports a bright-sounding spruce soundboard and a warmth-injecting mahogany body and neck coated in gloss-black lacquer. The white ABS binding creates a beautiful contrast in combination with the natural wood used for the back and sides, while the gold-coloured die-cast tuners not only keep the strings in tune but flesh out the style-packed looks. Loaded with a piezo pickup and an Ortega MagusPRO/B preamp that comes complete with a built-in tuner and a 3-band equalizer, the Ortega D8CE-4 comes fully prepped for the stage.
